How is rainbow filament made?
Producing PLA rainbow filament entails a unique process to get a consistent color gradient withing the filament. During production the normal extrusion process is adapted to make the color powder added to the melted filament from not one but multiple sources. By changing the source of color powder at regular intervals, a consistent rainbow is created. This unique process takes more time to produce, but enables you to create beautiful creations with your 3D printer.
